ABOUT US CORPORATE PROFILE Sun Star group of companies is an international conglomerate founded in 1981 as a construction company specialized in building main structure, building services ( E&M, drainage system, air conitioning system ) and fitting out decoration. Today, Sun Star's core businesses comprise land and property development, shopping mall development and operations, model car development and retail chain business. Sun Star commenced its business of land and property development in 1987. It had developed over 15 and invested over 25 residential and commercial projects in Macau, Hong Kong and China. Shopping mall operations which started in 1998 is another line of business derived from land and property development. To cope with the corporate diversification strategy, Sun Star entered model car and consumer products manufacturing industry in 1989. The brand, Sun Star, was adopted in 1998 and its products were then distributed effectively worldwide. In 2001, the prominent European brand, Vitesse, was strategically acquired. In 1985, Sun Star also participated in retail business. It became the authorized distributor for the Japanese chain-store group, Daiso, in Macau in 2004. In 2017, Sun Star further expanded its retail business to embrace quality food under the brand, Inda Quality Food. Between 2017 and 2018, the brand, Living Home, which operates the household goods and furniture retail business, was successively established in the major Sun Star Mark shopping malls. Sun Star has wholly owned companies and joint-ventures in Macau, Hong Kong, China, US, UK and Japan. In the future, Sun Star group of companies will keep on expanding via market and product development.
